📘 User Guide: Learn to Use Your Smartphone with Ease

1️⃣ How to Set Up WhatsApp, Facebook & YouTube

📱 Step 1: Unlock your phone

Press the power button and swipe up or enter PIN (ask family if needed)

🟢 Step 2: Find the Play Store (or App Store on iPhone)

• Icon looks like a triangle (Android) or “A” in a circle (iPhone)

• Tap on it

🔍 Step 3: Search for apps

• Type WhatsApp → Tap Install

• Type Facebook → Tap Install

• Type YouTube → Tap Install

✅ Step 4: Open each app one by one

• WhatsApp: Enter your phone number, get an OTP, set a profile photo

• Facebook: Use your name, phone/email, create a password

• YouTube: No sign-in required unless you want to save videos

2️⃣ How to Adjust Font Size, Volume & Brightness

🔧 Step 1: Open Settings (⚙️ Gear icon) on your phone

🔤 Font Size:

• Go to Display > Font size

• Slide the bar right for BIGGER text
  🧓 Easier to read for eyes

🔊 Volume:

• Press volume + / - buttons

• OR go to Sound > Volume > Media/Call Volume

💡 Brightness:

• Swipe down from the top

• Slide the sun icon left/right to lower/raise brightness

3️⃣ How to Save Contacts & Use Voice Typing

👤 Saving a Contact:

1. Open the Phone icon

2. Dial the number → Tap “Add Contact”

3. Write the name (you can ask someone to type it)

4. Tap Save

🎙️ Voice Typing:

1. Open WhatsApp or Messages

2. Tap the typing bar

3. Tap the 🎤 Microphone icon on the keyboard

4. Speak slowly – your phone will type what you say

✅ Works in Hindi & English!

4️⃣ How to Remove Spam Messages & Clear Junk

🧹 Step 1: Open Messages or WhatsApp

• Delete any unknown messages or ads
  → Tap & hold → Tap 🗑️ (Delete)
  
  

🧽 Step 2: Use a cleaning app (optional)

Install apps like Files by Google → Tap “Clean Junk” → Done

🛑 Never click on suspicious links or messages asking for money or OTP

5️⃣ How to Connect to Wi-Fi or Mobile Data

🌐 Wi-Fi (Free Internet at home)

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi

2. Tap your home Wi-Fi name

3. Enter password (ask your family)

4. Tap Connect ✅
   
   

📶 Mobile Data

1. Swipe down from top

2. Tap the 📡 Mobile Data icon (should turn blue or green)

3. Now you can use the internet from your SIM

💡 Turn off when not in use to save balance.
